Our Approach Guided exercise + Prescribed assessment

Rob Murray assessing a client for range of movement in shoulder

Assessment Your AEP will take you through a range of comprehensive assessment protocols

On your initial visit, your AEP will help you understand your current state of health, the lifestyle behaviours and risk factors which may be affecting you and the goals you wish to achieve.

Rob Murray working an action plan and exercise program

Prescription Your AEP will then formulate an action plan specific to your needs

This includes an exercise program based on evidence based practice, and a schedule for you to follow. We use an exercise prescription software called PhysiApp for ease of understanding and monitoring of adherence and pain levels.

Rob Murray supervising client ensuring all exercises are performed correctly

Supervision You will be shown how to exercise correctly under supervision

Follow the exercise program with your outcome measures in mind. Follow-up appointments can be made on a regular to semi-regular basis for accountability, adherence and to ensure things remain on track.

Rob Murray reassessing progress against baseline measures

Re-Assessment With time, things will change

Which will warrant an update to your program. Your AEP will reassess your progress against baseline measures and set new goals as required to ensure progression.

Our Clients Testimonials

As a Vietnam Veteran I have been referred to Rob for a physical assessment and ongoing management for my chronic conditions, which are a result of my military service. Rob is very motivated, extremely helpful, patient and communicates clearly. He has been focussing on my spinal mobility and improving both my posture and core strength. I would highly recommend Rob to help anyone who would like to improve their physical well-being and take positive steps towards achieving their health and fitness goals.

David C

Rob has been guiding me through my remedial training sessions for over a year now and I am extremely happy with his management. I am not an easy case with age now creeping in on top of old injuries from sport and parachuting. However, Rob has an almost limitless repertoire of exercises and has always been able to find a way around my back, knee and shoulder injuries so that I can exercise through my limitations. I am now able to maintain a better than average level of overall fitness. He is very cognisant of my needs, monitors me closely and never pushes me too far. I highly recommend Rob for anyone who has physical injuries and for anyone who thinks he is getting too old to exercise safely.

John T

Rob came to my rescue 9 months ago after my Type 2 diabetes management spiralled out of control and critically impacted on my recovery post cancer surgery. He has completely turned my life around with a structured exercise program concentrating on strength and resistance whilst at the same time, ensuring my co-existing dodgy knee, lower back and hip issues are not compromised or exacerbated. With Rob’s expert guidance and caring support, I’m now the healthiest & certainly fittest I’ve ever been in my life. I’ve lost almost 14 kg and more importantly, completely stopped (& stayed off!) my diabetes medication within a few short weeks after working with this brilliant young EP. Rob, I am eternally grateful to you for giving me my life back. You have helped me believe that nothing is impossible if you want it badly enough and to push through what I thought were insurmountable barriers and stubborn mindsets. You continue to inspire and motivate me to be the best version of myself.

I was referred to Rob by my doctor and I have not looked back. I have multiple sclerosis and I was at a low ebb at the time, trying to juggle work and family and failing miserably. I decided to take my life in hand and Rob tailored a programme to meet my health goals and needs that fitted into my lifestyle perfectly. The week I began the programme I put my back out at work and he immediately emailed me a series of exercises that relieved the pain. On top of that he is a thoroughly nice person who is extremely encouraging and supportive. I cannot recommend Rob highly enough.
